A few words of thanks to all who helped me with the loss of my husband. He had a wonderful send-off thanks to Penrose and the Royal Artillery Association.

I was very grateful with the help and respect given to me and his daughters on our first visit and also when I collected the ashes.

To Nathan and all at Penrose, I just wanted to thank you for the sensitivity, care and respect you showed my Grannie yesterday. She looked amazing and I’m sure you caught a glimpse of her incredible 100 years as my dad spoke at the grave-side. You don’t have an easy job but I hope you know how grateful people are that you do it so well.

Your manner and conduct was gentle, considerate and supportive, thank you for all you did to make yesterday so special. You have been given the gifting and attitude needed to help bring peace and blessing during difficult circumstances. Thank you Jeremy for completing the Order of Service and for leading the funeral in such a respectful, dignified and professional manner. We cannot express how much this meant to us as a family.

Thank you Edward and Paul for your support, respect and kindness on the day of the funeral. Edward, you offered your coat to our mum as she looked cold and Paul, you were so kind talking about the dogs outside our house before we left, the dogs were a big part of Cliff and are so important to the family, so this gave us comfort knowing that they had been recognised.

We have no hesitation in recommending your services to our family and friends.
